Combined Honours Overview

Launching in September 2025, our Combined Honours BA program is the first of its kind in Canada, blending an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Civic Studies with a degree in Humanities or Social Sciences. This innovative program at Wilson College offers you more than just a double major—it’s an opportunity to explore your personal leadership style, understand what leadership means to you, and prepare to make a real impact in your community.

As a Wilson College student, your journey goes beyond the classroom. You’ll embark on a transformative experience that evolves each year, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to lead with confidence and integrity. In your first year, you’ll dive into an introduction to leadership and civic studies, laying the foundation for a degree that will set you apart.

Beyond your coursework, you’ll engage with your community, learn from diverse leaders across various fields, and gain hands-on experience through practical application outside the classroom.

In your fourth year, you’ll undertake a year-long capstone project that includes an experiential work placement. This capstone experience is your chance to apply everything you’ve learned, develop essential career skills, and make connections that will help you in your future career.
