Engaging through Sound
Blending on-demand storytelling with the spirit of campus radio, the WC Podcast offers creative space for students to explore new formats, share their voices, and connect with scholars and community leaders on hot topics related to leadership and civic engagement.
Sharing Experiences
This podcast centers on dialogue about/with leadership and raises questions about current societal issues. By drawing from a range of disciplines which inform the field of leadership and civic studies, as well as the insights of those who practice leadership and civic action in community, the student podcast will serve as a conduit to stimulate thoughtful and timely discussion and debate.

In both turbulent and more hopeful times, effective leadership and civic engagement require creativity, active participation, and collaboration from all members of society. In response, Wilson College’s current theme: Tomorrow Starts Today: Next Generation in Civic Action reflects on how young people participate in various parts of society.

The Student Podcast Creatives is foremost about listening and learning from each other. Their goal is to produce a meaningful podcast series which can celebrate, share, and challenge existing narratives about leadership and civic engagement.
The Process
Ways to Participate
We encourage participation from Wilson College students and/or students from the Faculty of Humanities and/or Social Sciences. Individuals are expected to provide a statement of interest along with completing our questionnaire.
