Joint Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Civic Studies
Canada’s only joint honours BA in Leadership and Civic Studies will combine Wilson College’s innovative approach to leadership education with a degree in a liberal arts subject, such as history, political science, philosophy or anthropology.

Undergraduate Minor in Leadership and Civic Studies
The Wilson College Minor in Leadership and Civic Studies is designed for students in any faculty at McMaster who are interested in how they can meaningfully engage with the complex social challenges facing Canada.
To declare the minor, students must take a minimum of six units from each of three thematic areas:
• Leadership in Action
• Institutions, Governance and Civil Society
• Human Rights, Social Movements and Civic Action

Graduate Seminar in Leadership and Civic Studies
This annual graduate seminar will cover a wide range of topics in leadership and civic engagement, depending on the expertise of the scholar teaching that year.
The seminar is open to graduate students in the Faculty of Social Sciences, and to students in the Faculty of Humanities with dean’s permission.
This year’s seminar is called, “Leaders as Thinkers: What does good leadership look like?”
